a scrap of blue plastic on newly turned soil at the allotment

I am continuing to clear a piece of the plot for the cabbage plants Len gave me. Plastic is ubiquitous here. Sometimes I become interested in what colour I find next. Blue is less common than black, beige or multicoloured. I separate the non-compostable and take it home to dispose of in the household waste. Most plastic and glass cannot be recycled and today I realised I do not know how the waste is dealt with.
